We are seeking a Flexible Full-Time Experienced Kennel Attendant who is knowledgeable about pets, customer service oriented, enthusiastic and hard-working.
Roles &
Responsibilities:
Personally perform all tasks of kennel attendant proficiently on a daily basis.
This includes but is not limited to the following:
Hourly Cleaning, Dishes, Wysiwashing, Mopping, Vacuuming, Laundry, Feeding, Medicating, Deep Cleaning Tasks etc.
Work as the team leader to ensure a high quality of animal welfare is maintained Exhibit honesty, discretion and sound judgment Promote positive work morale by maintaining a positive outlook Display a genuine liking for people and pets with a desire to make the customer experience pleasant and welcoming Maintain composure and friendly demeanor while dealing with stressful situations Provide Grooming Services when necessary (Flea Baths, Nail Trim, Baths etc.
) Administer Medications and be confident pilling pets if needed Ensure all pets are fed, medicated, watered, exercised and in good health The following Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience are required for this job title:
Flexible Availability.
MUST be Able to work any shift and must be available weekends and holidays.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON SUNDAYS.
Must be able to swim.
There is a pool on-site at one of our locations Must have experience with dogs and cats of all breeds and ages Must genuinely enjoy taking care of animals and putting their well-being first.
